Miami Railway Station Museum
Miami Railway Station Museum, built in 1889, is a national historic site depicting the life and times of the rural station agent.
Hours of operations: Wednesday through Sunday, 8:30a.m. to 5 p.m., mid May to August.
Admission: $2 for Adults (13+), $5 for a family and children 12 and under are free.
We will be open holiday Mondays and for special events.

The Miami Museum
Incorporated in 1972, The Miami Museum has sustained more than 42 years of continued contributions to local heritage. You can view wonderful displays inside, including a 40 ft. Mosasaur display of the original speciman as well as the Marion, a doll donated to us by Joan Driedger. With the help of dedicated volunteers, it has gone through a wonderful transformation this year.

Miami AG Society Home
After the success of the Miami Mud Bog in the past years, we look forward to having you again with us next year. We will be having the annual event at the Miami Fairgrounds. Check out our Facebook Page to see everything that we are up to!
Recreational Activities
The Rural Municipality of Thompson has several recreational activities scheduled throughout the year. You can take part in events that you are passionate about. Read below for more information and contact details.
Miami Minor Baseball
An association within both South Central Minor Baseball and Tiger Hills Girls Minor Softball we are a growing league offering opportunities for children to join a hardball team or a girls softball team. Call Barb Graham at 204-751-0217 for more information. Or head down to the diamonds almost any night of the week in May, June or July to cheer on your team!
Miami Curling Club
The rink boasts 3 sheets of artificial ice, a kitchen, and a great viewing area. Contact Glenn Duncan at 204-435-2019 to join the men’s league. To sign up for the ladies’ league, call Barb Rankin at 204-435-2432.
Take part in the junior curling tournament and get in touch with Blaine Rutter at 204-435-2207. To book for ice rentals, ask for Buddy Callum at 204-435-2473.
Miami Camp Ground – Senior Citizens Park

Miami Golf and Country Club
The golf course is located 1 mile west of Miami and ½ miles north of the municipality. You can call 204-435-2756 or visit their website for information about tee times, tournament dates, and lunch specials.
Lloyd Orchard Community Arena
This is the famous home of the Miami Minor Hockey and Miami Recreational Hockey Leagues (for children, men, and ladies), public skating, and the Miami Funskate learning program. Taekwondo Lessons
